After two operations on my eye for three tears in my retina and being under your care for further 13 months, I appreciate the care given by you and your team of nurses.
I had 5 retinal detachments affecting both eyes over 9 months. I was told I wouldn’t read beyond the third line of a sight chart. I got my driving license back in April 2016, 2.5 years after the second eye detached and tore for the 1/3 times. Mr. Habal carried out most of my operations and I believe the amazing eyesight I have now is due mainly to his ability as a surgeon and his post-op care and advice. My eyesight before the tears and detachments was not bad, a bit short-sighted and, amazingly, I feel it is better than before. I was so so lucky that Mr. Habal was my surgeon on the NHS.
